Female gamers a rarity you say? Naaaaaah! There are plenty and the numbers are increasing especially with today's top marketing strategies geared toward Women. However, coming from a gamer who is female, I must agree that there isn't enough females involved in the Fighter scene. While the majority of females have found a home on an FPS title or found their winning technique in Smash Brothers, there are very few who thrive for the competition in Fighters. The RozeMaiden is switching it up and representing gamers like myself, Gamers who love a digital fight and the rough competition there is to face in the Fighter genre. Maybe you have heard of her, maybe you have not and that's what we are here for. Here's an interview with one of NY's Finest.

In your own words, how would you describe yourself, The RozeMaiden?
Born and Raised in New York RozeMaiden started out with the short end of the stick.Roze's Mother passed away at the young age of 30 and father moved out without a trace leaving her and her older brother to be raised by there 60 year old Grandmother .After the death of RozeMaiden's mother RozeMaiden's grandmother decided that there needed a change in scenery and so they moved to Flushing NY now known as the largest Chinese and Korean Town in New York City.RozeMaiden was 4 at the time and on there house warming party Roze was given an Atari 2600 by one of her uncles.Its a pretty simple storie from there, She pretty much got ever system and almost every game.Games became something she would ask for on Birthdays and even Christmas any and every Holiday she could get a gift she got a game.Years pasted on and Roze became an outcast in her family.Video Games became her life.RozeMaiden grew up enjoying Science, She was crafty and loved Robotics she would use old radios and car parts to create ideas and designs in her head.She became in gulfed in extraterrestrial life and the paranormal.As a young teen Roze found it hard to associate with her fellow female peers.She often found herself hanging with the guys .RozeMaiden started to develop her edge gaining experience in the so called male world learning how to deal with the everyday guy .RozeMaiden’s wardrobe became consistent with t-shirts and baggy ufos .RozeMaiden was well know in her High School years for being in the Gothic scene, Dark and enchanting .Roze started her underground gamer status at age 17 as she defeated many many males and trying female in the Tekken Sence .In late 2003 Roze moved to Monticello NY she transfer school in the hopes of starting a career in the Medical Field during her trade school years she has done fundraising for endangered animals raising up to $2,000.00 for the endangered eagle located right in the heart of Callicoon upstate NY.
After her career training school she was a proud Dental Assistant two months later she found a local job at a busy Dental Office .RozeMaiden is currently working on planning for school going for Dental Hygenistry AA degree.
April 2010 Roze will be in casting calls for Ultimate Gamer Season two with the support of her husband who served the Military for over 5 years and her Team Empire Arcadia and Valkyries Of Arcadia she feels confident
she will be successful in life.

How did you get your alias?
Well i keep a lot of personal things to myself.My friends and family have no idea the hard issues i go through within myself.I had many deaths in my family and i am currently taking care of a sick member of the family the only one i have left.

Roses were something my mother loved- RozeMaiden is from RozenMaiden anime.I am in the works of opening a Lolita subculture store .RozenMaiden the Anime is known for its Lolita cosplay .
Tell us the first memory you have as a gamer.
What was your favorite game growing up?
1989 when we moved in our new apartment in Flushing Queens NY .We were unloading boxes and decorating our new apartment my uncle came by and gave me and my brother a house warming gift an Atari2600.

For those who do not know, RozeMaiden is a member of Empire Arcadia. How long has it been since you've joined Triforce (the founder of Empire Arcadia)?
I joined forces with Empire Arcadia late September 2009.So it has been a little over 6 months now.
Faro had the pleasure of losing to you in Tekken 6, her first loss to a female gamer ever! Then again, there aren't many female gamers who embrace the fighting genre the way that you do. Tell us, how long have you been playing Tekken?
I have been into Fighter since Street Fighter one.From then on I transferred over to Tekken in the early 1990’s with Tekken one.In my family of more men/boys i have always been the better fighter.
Besides Tekken, what other fighting games are you good/great at playing?
Dead or Alive 4 I started playing that game when there were no other out for the new gen console at the time i had a xbox 360.I also been on Soul Calibur 4 as well awaiting Tekken 6.I also spent a small amount of time on Street Fighter 4.I do not like the game but its pretty fun.I just like the way Street Fighter was with its Japanese art style.
Which do you practice regularly? And for how long?
Yes i do everyday but every now and then I take a 3 day break to work on my website and deal with personal matters in the nature.
What is the biggest goal you have set for yourself, When it comes to being a pro-gamer?
My purpose for being a up coming pro gamer is to become a journalist/reporter for a TV show like G4 of course id like to get paid for this as well.Right now I have no background for it and that is why I am doing the things I am doing to get in the field and take every chance I get to add to my gaming resume.
Are you single? Of course, we have to ask.
No i am actually married to my high school sweet heart.He is truly a gentle men and why would I want anything els.He served in the Military and is a honorable man.He highly intelligent and we get along very well.He has been helping me since we met and in my heart I felt I owed him everything.So we got Married on base February 14th 2007.
Finally, Are there any final words you would like to express to our readers?
I just like for the rumors in all gaming to stop.No there arrant rumors of me but other people within the field please I would like peace with in the gaming communities.
