Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine was first announced as a console only title from developer Relic Entertainment. Space Marines, is a third-person shooter based on the Warhammer 40,000 universe, which up to this point have been RTS games. PC gamers were crushed when they heard that their favorite franchise was going console exclusive. It seems THQ & Relic listened to their fanbase and have announced that it's upcoming 3rd Person Action/Shooter, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, will indeed be coming to the PC in addition to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in early 2011.


Space Marine puts players into the boots of one of humanity's elite soldiers, genetically engineered and equipped with state of the art weapons and armor. Players are dropped right into the action as they battle to defend an Imperial Forge World, from an invasion by the savage and brutal Orks, using the most devastating weaponry mankind has at its disposal.


Jonathan Dowdeswell, General Manager of Relic Entertainment commented: "The loyal PC audience is incredibly important to us here at Relic so we are delighted to be able to announce the PC version of the game."
