A new trailer for the highly anticipated Halo: Reach has been released, dubbed "The Battle Begins", that gives a glimpse as to what players can expect in the game's campaign. The trailer itself is on the short side, clocking in at a little over a minute, though that won't matter much to fans as they will assuredly go through it frame-by-frame to dissect whatever details they can out of it. I am nowhere near that level of dedication (blame my lazy nature), although the trailer does show what seems to be some great campaign set-pieces, such as a giant battle involving countless Warthogs and Banshees, as well as another quick glimpse of the aerial combat in space. What's most refreshing about this trailer is that it seems to be entirely composed of in-engine assets, so this is what the game will actually look like when it hits store shelves; most companies tend to go the CGI route with trailers, so kudos to Bungie for not trying to pull one over on fans.
Enough talking about the trailer though...you can check out the new "The Battle Begins" trailer below, and remember to enlist in the battle when Halo: Reach arrives on September 14, 2010!
